Welcome to Front Porch

We are an independent publishing house rooted in contemporary Southern literature. Our mission is to amplify the diverse and evolving voices redefining our region, to be a true partner for writers and a trusted curator for readers.

More than just an editorial, we are built on a foundation of purpose.

Everything we publish is intentionally selected for its literary quality, authentic voice, and compelling storytelling. We curate books that inspire, challenge, and expand perspectives.

For Readers: A Trusted Curator

Our First Book On The Shelf

We are proud to begin our collection with our book, The Storekeeper’s Vigil & Other Tales.

Inspired by true events and the author’s family history, the story unfolds in West Tennessee during the winter of 1944.

A powerful work of Southern storytelling rooted in place, memory, and the complexities of the human experience.

We're Looking for the New Stories of the South

Our submission window is not open just yet, but our search has already begun. We seek the untold and necessary stories, the underrepresented voices that tell the unique realities of the American South.

If you've written a story that feels both rooted and bold, we want to know about it.
